Deganwy Out of School Club

 

 

1. How do I book my child into Club?

 

You will need to fill in the contact form on the contact us tab, email, phone or call into Club for a parent Information pack which contains a Registration/Contract Form. This will need to be completed and returned before we can take a booking. If you would like the opportunity to chat with the Manager about availability, fees etc. please call 07974366141

 

2. What age does my child need to be to attend Club?

The age range is 3-12 years.

 

3. Opening & Closing Times

After School Club – 3.00 / 3.30 - 6.00pm

Holiday Club – 8.30am - 5.30pm

 

4. Payment

Fees are payable weekly in advance at the end of your child’s first session of the week.  Fees can be paid by bank transfer (HSBC Bank 61546031, sort code 40-30-07) or childcare vouchers.

Fees must be paid weekly by the end of each week to guarantee a place for the following week or by paying monthly at the start of each month. (Monthly by arrangement with the manager).

If you are paying by Childcare Vouchers please authorise payment promptly to meet this deadline.It is also expected that all fees are paid in full by the end of the academic year (August) to guarantee a place when your child returns to school in September.

Deganwy Out of School Club Limited is a not for profit company, however, if the Club’s income does not meet its expenditure, fees (with prior notification to parents) may be subject to increase within the school year.

 

5.  Do I have to let you know if my child is off sick or not attending for any reason?

Parents / carers must notify the Club if a child will not be attending either due to sickness, personal holidays or for any other reason.

 

6.  Do I have to pay if my child does not attend?

YES - Full fees will be charged if a child is absent for any reason. You pay to keep your child’s place.

 

7.  Cancellation

After School Club day/s: Once a regular booking has been made, one months’ notice is required to cancel your child’s place. Full fees will be charged for this notice period whether the child continues to attend or not.

Holiday Club Bookings: once you have booked sessions for the holidays/Teacher Training days, full fees must be paid even if the child does not attend for any reason or you change your mind.

One Off / Extra days in both Holiday Club or After School Club: once you have made a booking, full fees must be paid even if the child does not attend for any reason or if you change your mind.

 

8. Who can collect my child?

Only the named people on your Registration / Contract Form will be able to collect your child.

 

9. Late Pick-Up

If a parent is late collecting their child a late fee will be charged (£10 for every 15 minutes (or part thereof) you are late). No child will ever be left unsupervised because a parent/carer has failed to collect them.  Should there be no response from all contact numbers and the child has not been collected by 6.45pm the Conwy County Borough Council Duty Social Worker will be contacted, and their advice sought.

 

10.  What if my child has special dietary needs?

Parents are asked to notify the Manager in writing (“individual needs form” included in this information pack) if their child has any special dietary requirements and / or food allergies.  This information will be made known to all staff.

 

11.  Can my child attend if they are still in nappies?

No, children must be able to go to the toilet independently.
